Voice Acting Workshop
Nick created this visual demo using his takes recorded from a voice acting workshop he attended, led by Keep Dreaming Creative. He chose a few scripts, stepped up to the microphone, and performed them on the spot, taking turns with other voice actors in short, five or ten-minute blocks. During each round, he incorporated feedback and guidance from Steph Lynn Robinson, a professional voice actor operating as the voice director.
This demo compiles multiple takes Nick performed for one of the scripts he chose.
Voice Acting and Sound Design Demo
Nick’s favorite anime is Cowboy Bebop, so he chose a collection of scenes from Cowboy Bebop: The Movie for his voice acting and sound design demo.
Nick replaced almost all of the original audio. The only thing he couldn’t bring himself to replace was the music. Cowboy Bebop's music is absolutely amazing. For the sound design, he used samples from a sound effect library to replace all of the original sound effects and ambiance.
For the dubbing, Nick performed the voices for Spike, Jet, and all additional characters. His super‑talented friend and collaborator, Katusha Jin performed Electra's voice.
